Recently, I sat down with the novella and combed through some of the text, on the hunt for quotes to make a few pinnables for Pinterest. It’s one of those processes that kind of lets the characters speak for themselves which is always a bit of an adventure.
A few of the quotes below are from the hero — thanks, Tuck. But then I stumbled upon one from Sarah that just felt right.
The first is not from the story at all. It’s one of my favorite quotes by A. A. Milne. You may likely know who that is, but if you don’t, you’ll know him as the author of Winnie the Pooh. While that tale was written years after This Quiet Sky takes place, it’s sweet, gentle spirit is one that I held close while working on the novella and just so happens to be the epigraph.
So from Christopher Robin & Pooh…and Tucker & Sarah…here are a few pinnable quotes.
