With just over a month to go before the release of THOUGH MY HEART IS TORN, I’m gearing up for getting book 2 into the hands…and hopefully hearts of readers! I just heard from my editor that the edits for the third book, MY HOPE IS FOUND are coming this week which means I’ll be up to my elbows in edits for the story–a busy and often times difficult process but one that is so worth it in the end. I will let you know how it goes! 🙂
In the meantime, if you would like to help me in getting ready for the book release, there are a few things you can do:
1. If you haven’t yet written a review for BE STILL MY SOUL, would you consider writing one on your favorite book review site? Reviews don’t have to be long and need not even be a summary of the book, just a few sentences of your overall thoughts or what the story meant to you, is always so helpful to an author in helping spread the word about a novel.
Here are links to a few popular review sites if you see one you’d like to click over to: Amazon, B&N, CBD, Goodreads, or Novel Crossing (some of these sites require a password, so if you’re not a member to any, simply choose whichever work best for you!)
If you write a review, there are sometimes options to share it to Facebook. If you have that option and would like to, that would be such a blessing!
2. Hit the “like” button on Amazon. I’m not exactly sure of the science behind this, but I do know it helps a book along.
BE STILL MY SOUL (paperback) and (kindle) and also (large print)
THOUGH MY HEART IS TORN (paperback) and also (kindle)
3. Pin the books to Pinterest!
This is always helpful in spreading the word about a book: Here is the pin for book 1 and here is the pin for book 2.Â
4. If you are a blogger…
And would like to host a Q & A or guest post, please don’t hesitate to ask! Whether you want to talk books, romance or even the writing and publishing process, just let me know in the comments below and I will email you. 🙂 Also, feel free to grab my button (just over on the right-hand sidebar) if you’d like to link your blog to Heartfelt Fiction (that’s me…I officially have a button) *smile*
And last but not least, THOUGH MY HEART IS TORN is available for pre-order on just about every online book site. You can visit here to see the different places it’s for sale, or if you want to support your local bookstore and pick it up after it releases, that’s great too!!
So excited to read it! Thanks for the helpful links. I’ll email you after I’ve read it for a visit to about proximity and giveaway!
Lisa, awesome! I pray as this story goes out in April, that Lonnie and Gideon’s story would be a blessing to you all somehow. I’m looking forward to hearing what you think! And it would be such an honor to be on your blog!
Officially liked, repinned, and reviewed. 🙂

Oh, I’m so excited for the party!! Thank you for being my wonderful host. I love you so dearly!!
Thank you for all the info. I am more than pleased to help get the word out about this series! Be Still My Soul, is a rewarding read, it blesses the reader in the fact that indeed, His eye is on the sparrow! Just a little bit of faith, that is all that is asked of us!
Ms Bischof has painted a story in my heart with our Lonnie and Gid. Happily awaiting the wildflowers in that mountain meadow.
Melody, your comment has been such a blessing on my morning. I am so glad that Be Still My Soul meant all that to you and I pray that Though My Heart is Torn will bless you as well. Thank you for sharing your beautiful words!
Loved your books, as you know! And I’m super pumped to help promote Though My Heart Is Torn!!
Melissa, You are like a hug to my heart, do you know that? 🙂 Can’t wait to do the same!
Joanne…your post here has prompted me to move out of my comfort zone. And if you would like to, I’d love to host a question and answer guest post! I’ve never done that before..,you’d be my guinea pig. Haha! I need maybe two weeks to come up with some questions and then I’ll email them if it would be okay. And we can plan a date. I may put a homeschooling (writing) spin on my questions and be able to drive more audience that way as I’m a part of several online forums, etc.
Amy-
Would, love to, love to, love to! I’m so glad you felt at home enough to throw that out there. Yes! It would be an honor 🙂 I love the idea of a homeschooling mommy/writer twist. That sounds so fun! Feel free to send me questions at any time. Thank you!
March 1st!!! We have a date!
We are on! Looking forward to it 😀
Hey Joanne, I’ve already written my review for Be Still My Soul and put it out there. I will go back and check to see if there is anywhere else I can post it. I ‘liked’ on Amazon and pinned your button to my new Blog Fest Pinterest Board. Looking forward to receiving my copy of Though My Heart Is Torn. I will let you know when it arrives! I do have a blog, so I may be wanting to have a Q & A of you one day. Do you have a standard Q & A that you send out, or am I supposed to come up with questions for you to answer? I’ve never done an author Q and A before, except for MaryLu Tyndall, but that was something that I just copied from a mass email I received.
Debbie,
I loved the review you wrote for Be Still My Soul, thank you so much! You have been such a wonderful suporter and I am so thankful for you. I just dropped the book in the mail yesterday and I am so excited for you to get to read it! How fun, that you were the giveaway winner. I was so excited…you completely deserved it 🙂
I’d love to do a Q & A on your blog, anytime! What you could do is just send me a few questions via email and I’ll answer them and send them back. If you want to, you could read the book first and then come up with whatever struck you as something you’d like to dig a little deeper on.
I loved your books!! I love how you kept me on my toes the whole time!! I can’t wait for the 3rd book! Love the title and know for sure i will love the book! God bless! and thank you!
Thank you, Viktoriya! That is so sweet! It just means the world to me to know that you loved the books and I’m so excited for you to read the third. So great meeting you!!
